The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) – the government agency overseeing lawful immigration to the United States – is offering free E-Verify Webinars for employers in July 2015 about the Internet-based employment eligibility verification system. E-Verify compares information from the Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification to U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Social Security Administration (SSA) records to confirm employment eligibility to work in the United States.
